Founded in April 2003 by Sean Taylor and Tony Carnevale, Variety Underground is a free monthly comedy variety show at the Parkside Lounge in the Lower East Side of New York City. A breeding ground for talent, VU is proud to include Aziz Ansari, talk show host Dave Hill, beatboxer extraordinairre Shockwave, and Channel 102 founder Tony Carnevale among its friendly alums. The current hosts are Sean Taylor and Shawn Amaro.
