New York improviser: Terry Withers

Terry Withers

Terry Withers is proud to have been a student, performer, teacher and in upper management at UCBNY.

He performed with Harold teams Robber Baron, Standard Oil, Still Mike, Sandino, and Sherlock&Cookies. Off of Harold Night, he performed in The Terry Withers Mysteries, with Fuck That Shit (A Comedy Team), SMIRK, a slew of other indie teams, and A Very Normal Stand Up Show. He began studying long form improv at UCB in early 2007. He has been lucky enough to train under such luminaries as Zach Woods, Joe Wengert, Charlie Todd, Erik Tanouye, Anthony King, Will Hines, Michael Delaney, Chris Gethard, and Kevin Hines.

He has toured colleges and improv theaters with shows of his own creation, such as Short-Form Is The ONLY Art Form, Paranormal Comedy, and The (New) David Mamet Play with co-creator Hunter Nelson.

In our current dystopia, he spends his time teaching free online improv sessions several times a week with The Radical Agreement Project. Recently he announced The Improv Workplace Challenge, a new improvised web series that will cast only HR professionals.

He is proud about his professional social profiles. Give him one good reason why he shouldn't be!
