New York improv show: The 11th Hour Show

The 11th Hour Showimprov show

Acclaimed comedy group Face Off Unlimited (“Really Funny” - The NY Times) has chosen St. Mark's Place, one of the last strongholds of New York cool, for 11th Hour - a weekly late night spectacle of spontaneity, comedy, music and mayhem. At the 11th Hour, we will seek to invoke the spirits of those who came before in the heart of the hippest street in America. There are few streets in New York City with such rich and diverse history as St. Mark's Place. The beatniks of the 50s, the hippies of the 60's, and the punk rockers of the 70's and 80's all found one another on these few blocks. As the backdrop for a myriad of political and artistic movements, St. Mark's has remained the counter culture epicenter of the East Coast. Now, the corner spot where Thelonius Monk and Charlie Parker once played is a pizza joint. The building that was home to the Electric Circus, where Andy Warhol hosted mad happenings and the likes of Jimi Hendrix and The Grateful Dead blew minds, now houses a Chipotle. Everywhere you look, a venerable NYC cultural institution has become a wireless store or a bank. We refuse to let the magic of St. Marks fade into commercialism. Be a part of the legacy, every Saturday night at 11pm. Jebon Sushi & Noodle
