New York improviser: Scott Morwitz

Scott Morwitz

Scott was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, where he got a degree in Vocal Performance from Carnegie Mellon University. He sings and sometimes he even SANGS! (That's what Aretha Franklin does)

He has been performing since his 6th grade school musical, Oliver, where he played a nameless orphan. At home he sang all of Oliver's songs alone in the bathtub and still feels he should have had that part.

Improv Training includes the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater, The Magnet Theater and The PIT. Instructors have included Eric Scott, Betsy Stover, Kevin Hines, Chelsea Clarke, Kirk D'Amato, Kevin Mullaney, Shannon O'Neil, Tara Copeland, Eliza Skinner, Ashley Ward, Michael Martin... and many more...

He feels weird writing about himself in the third person.
