New York improviser: Ramona Pula

Ramona Pula

Freelance Theatre Artist with experience in writing, producing, directing, and performing, having worked with many companies in New York City, and in Baltimore Maryland. I hold down a day job as a legal assistant in a large New York law firm.

I've completed the core curriculums for improv and sketch writing at Upright Citizens Brigade, and have studied sketch writing and improv at Magnet Theater. I also enjoy flirting with The Peoples Improv Theater.

I've studied improv with [in chron order] John Frusciante, Ryan Karels, Doug Moe, Abra Tabak, Kevin Hines and Doug Widick; and have taken improv workshops with Will Hines, Kevin Mullaney, David Razowsky and Rich Talarico.

I've studied sketch writing with [in chron order] Brandon Bassham, Lee Rubenstein, Michael Delaney, Frank Hejl, Armando Diaz and Beth Newell. I've taken workshops in sketch writing with Rachael Mason, Brandon Gulya, and Zhubin Parang, and in joke-writing with Josh Patten.

B.A. in Theatre Arts from Towson University with a concentration in Acting/Directing. I've also studied acting at The Barrow Group and character acting with Elaine Carroll (full course), Jodi Lennon (workshop) and Anthony Atamanuik (workshop).
