New York improviser: Rachel Rosenthal

Rachel Rosenthal

Rachel Rosenthal recently relocated to New York from Boston where she performed for 9 years, and was most recently in the weekly Mainstage cast. She specializes in free-form and musical improv, and has been known to showcase these mad skills in numerous festivals including Chicago, North Carolina Comedy Arts, San Francisco, Providence, Boston, and Women in Comedy Improv Festivals as well as Chicago Sketch Fest.

She has studied with Joe Bill, Asaf Ronen, Zach Ward, Will Luera, Jeremiah Jordan, Jon Gabrus, Brandon Gardner, Gavin Speiller, Doug Moe, Jill Bernard, Jen Currran and Chris Grace.

Upon moving to NYC, she immediately joined the beatboxing, free-stylin' North Coast - whom she loves dearly. She can also be seen with the monoscene team, Beatloaf, the Boston/NY crew, Doctor BallRoom, and her two-person character transforming team, War Bride, with Natasha Rothwell.

Rachel can currently be seen weekly at the People's Improv Theater with house team, Family Haircut.

She has a website and like, way too many blogs.
