New York improviser: Peter Harmelin

Peter Harmelin

Peter has been improvising and taking classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in NYC since 2006. Originally from Connecticut, he graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY in 2005 with a B.A. in Theatre and a predilection for semantic argument. While there, he helmed the sketch comedy troupe, Bobby Peru.

Previous NYC credits include Love is in the Air (Fringe 2005), the indie improv group, She's Like the Wind, The Del Close Marathon (Identity Theft), and most regrettably, a mime/booth performer at the 2008 Greater New York Dental Meeting hosted at the Javits Center (the largest dental convention in the country).

He can currently be seen wreaking serious havoc with his improv team, Identity Theft, writing and shooting funny videos, and making regular appearances on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

Peter has had the privilege of training with the likes of Ari Voukydis, Joe Wengert, Charlie Todd, Chris Gethard, Charlie Sanders, Rob Riggle, and John Lutz.
