New York improviser: Constance Williams

Constance Williams

Constance Williams is a New York based actress and improviser who received her BA in Speech Communication and Theater from Jackson State University in Jackson, MS. As an accomplished public speaker, she has had the amazing opportunity to introduce and perform for Spike Lee, Cornell West, Vanessa Bell Calloway, and many others. Currently in the third and final year of graduate studies at The Actors Studio Drama School, she has worked on numerous lead roles. Her favorite roles being Nina in Sunset Baby, May in Time Flies, and Gwendolyn in The Importance of Being Ernest. Recently outside of ASDS, she had the time of her life portraying Hippolyta/Titania in Dry With a Twist Theatrics: The Bar{d} Project's production of A Midsummer's Night Dream. It was Shakespeare, in a BAR for crying out loud! Who wouldn't love it?!

After taking intensives under Scott Hudson and Felix Solis at the Labyrinth Theater Company, Constance continually looks for ways to inspire and be inspired. She is currently progressing through the core improv courses at The Upright Citizens Brigade!
