Bio
Anna began her entertainment career by performing "concerts" with a tennis racquet guitar on the fireplace mantel for her very patient and supportive parents. In addition to acting and finding ways to play sports equipment musically, Anna was inspired by the cutting edge concepts incorporated in music videos and independent films, and chose to pursue a filmmaking career at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. After graduating from NYU in 2006, Anna was hired on to the Production Design team at NBC’s Saturday Night Live as Design Coordinator/Set Dresser. It was there that she learned she did not know one thing about decorative wall sconces or what type of furniture category a "hutch" fit into.
While remaining passionate about filmmaking, Anna realized she was too much of an attention whore to forgo a career in acting and returned to her childhood roots. With training from the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Training Center and NYU's film acting program, she is now able to fulfill her dream of writing a performer profile in the third person!!
Anna has training from the UCB Theater by instructors Betsy Stover, Chelsea Clarke, Neil Casey, Rebecca Drysdale, Megan Neuringer, Curtis Gwinn, Pamela Murphy and Ari Voukydis.
