Christine Piñeiro

Christine Piñeiro was born and raised in the Bronx and earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre Arts from LeMoyne College. Since then, she has studied with Karen Kohlhass at The Network and with Julie Garfield at Michael Howard Studios in New York City.

Christine won a Best New Talent Award for her role as Lolita Maria Sanchez in LeMoyne College’s TV News farce, “Newz 4 Youz” and played Rita in their production of “Rita and Chris,” both were produced by her sister, Emmy Nominated News Producer, Jennifer Piñeiro.

Christine is proud to be a company member of Pantomonium Productions, a nonprofit theater company whose mission is to put on one production each year, in an American interpretation of British Pantomime for underprivileged children throughout New York City. Last year, she starred as Snow White in Pantomonium’s Production of “Snow White & the Several Dwarfs.” She was also in Gifford Family Theater’s production of “Fever 1793” as Lucille Cook. She received rave reviews from The Syracuse Post Standard for her performance as Marisol in LeMoyne College’s Productions of “Marisol” and as Maggie Mundy in “Dancing at Lughnasa.”

Christine began her Improv training at The People’s Improv Theater. You can see her perform Improv throughout the city with Motley Misfits and on Sunday nights with her team MMDK at the People's Improv Theater.

Christine loves watching classic films on TCM, visiting museums, reading books by Frank McCourt, and George R.R. Martin, drinking coffee at quaint cafes, cooking, exercising, and dancing.
