New York improviser: Oscar Montoya

Oscar Montoya

Oscar Montoya was completely unaware of the world of improvisational comedy until the spring of 2006. By taking a class at Uprights Citizens Brigade on a whim (his roommate was doing it and he had nothing else better to do), Oscar was introduced to a world he's been hooked on ever since. He can be seen performing all over New York with his teams North Coast (freestyle rap improv team), Zamboni! (musical improv team), and Rhonda (just normal improv team). He's studied under Betsy Stover, Charlie Todd, Will Hines, Shannon O'Neill and Doug Moe. When he's not doing improv, Oscar can be seen dancing and choreographing hip hop to whoever will pay him.
