New York improviser: Melinda Coyne

Melinda Coyne

Although Melinda used to practice cartoon character voices and used this talent to make friends in second grade,it took her until her late 20s to realize she wanted to be a performer. Melinda has studied improv and sketch at the UCB theatre under many wonderful people (Nicole Drespel, Kate Riley, Betsy Stover, and Charlie Sanders to name a few). Melinda also digs the PIT and the Magnet theaters. By day, Melinda writes copy for pharma ads and stuff. Everything else is pretty much about making the comedy. Melinda also really, really digs pizza and is done trying to get her profile photo to be anything but sideways.
