New York improviser: Megan Patsel

Megan Patsel

Megan Patsel is a Brooklyn-based writer and actress from San Francisco. In 2014 she moved to New York and started taking classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade. Prior to that, Megan studied theatre and visual arts at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where she directed plays for the Del Rey Players Theater. She's written for the monthly sketch show "The Livia Scott Sketch Program" (2015) at the UCB, and the web series "Good Sets" (2016) and "Melania's Press Tour" (2017) with her company Spanky Productions. She currently performs around New York City with improv teams Liberal Media and Shoplifters. Outside of comedy, Megan enjoys music, the occult, and dancing with her group "Sparkle Motion."
