New York improviser: Margot Perry

Margot Perry

Margot Perry is a comedian born and raised in Queens, NY. Her sketch, Popular Girls Club has been featured as The Video of the Day on The Maude. She has also had several comedy videos featured on the front page of Funny or Die. Her dark comedy, Happy Birthday David was a finalist in Manhattan Repertory Theater's 2013 Winter One-Act Festival. Margot has studied at UCB since 2012 under Chelsea Clark, Tim Martin, Shannon O'Neil, Anthony Atamanuik, and Damian Chadwick. She also studied at The Stella Adler Studio's under mentor Patrick Quagliano, Elizabeth Parrish, and Noel Wilson. Most recently, she has studied improv at The PIT under Patrick McCartney, Matt Higgins, Jamie Cummings, and Jody Shelton. Margot completed her film acting studies at StoneStreet Studios with such faculty as Ted Sluberski, Bruce Faulk, and Pete Demeo. She has played bit roles with UCB Beta Team SCRAPS and POCKETWATCH. Margot currently produces original comedy videos under the name Prima Brosephina, and rehearses with her musical improv team Remix. She recently received a merit scholarship to study at The Atlantic Acting school's evening conservatory in Fall 2017.
