New York improviser: Lianna Nielsen

Lianna Nielsen

I grew up on a pretty little country road in Whitefield, Maine. As a child, I loved singing and dancing and all things creative and when I was five, decided to change my name to Rainbow Heart Star Unicorn. I traded organic food and fresh air for city life at the George Washington University, where I studied literature and studio art (painting). After graduation, I moved to New York to study acting at the Atlantic Theater’s Conservatory Program. I then went on to study improv at UCB & the PIT. My most recent projects are "Hits," David Cross' first feature film, and "Paper Dreams," a feature film I co-wrote, produced and starred in.
