New York improviser: Laura Farret

Laura Farret

Laura Farret is not very famous, but her sim is at the top of the music career. Born and raised in Argentina she moved to NY in 2002 and soon realized that her acquired skills of pretending to be normal could be very well used for acting. Laura joined the HB studio musical theatre workshop and performed as Moll in Cradle will Rock and Roxie in Chicago. Also at the HB she joined an improv class in 2010 and it never ended. While a theatre major at Hunter College, Laura worked the scene shop for four semesters, wrote a few plays and designed some sets. Laura currently holds a bachelor's degree from Hunter in theatre and studio art and a master's from NYU in Drama Therapy. Laura currently works as a psychotherapist for New York Psyhotherapy and Counseling Center where she practices listening, finding the pattern and yes anding on a daily basis.
