Kristen started improvising in Boston in her college group NUScene at Northeastern University. She later joined the collective, The Tribe where she expanded her improv skills in various long form styles, musical improv and video improv in Neutrino Boston. She also tried her hand at sketch and satirical performance art with The South City Theatre Ensemble. A year after college, she moved to New York where she completed UCB's 5 level training program as well as musical improv at UCB and The PIT. She now works at NYU, goes to grad school there for Environmental Education and performs as much as she can with her band, Tens of Thousands, and her beloved improv groups Load and Veal. Her love of musical improv is growing so much, she must ask herself why don't you marry it?
