New York improviser: Katlyn Carlson

Katlyn Carlson

Katie is an actor who started improvising pretty recently. She's originally from St. Louis, and got her B.A. from the University of Chicago. She was heavily involved in the Chicago theatre scene until she was cast in the national tour of "Dirty Dancing: the Classic Story On Stage," in which she played Lisa Houseman. That experience led her to NYC, the Peoples Improv Theatre, and her newly-formed team, Gameface. Katie is very enthusiastic about, among other things, her two cats, and karaoke. You can watch her star in the indie dramedy "My Name Is Jerry" if you have Netflix instant view.
