New York improviser: Kate Soloff

Kate Soloff

Kate has trained at the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York City and is currently enrolled in the Academy program. She has studied improv with some of New York's finest improvisers including: Alex French, Lydia Hensler, Patrick Clair, Zack Willis, Abra Tabak, Jake "the Myth" Smith, Ryan Karels, Becky Drysdale (to name a few). She also completed the KROMPF program with the lovely, Amey Goerlich. Her main squeeze is Dad’s New Girlfriend and former indie squads include These Guys, Yonic Bonds, and Canadian Boyfriend. She dreams of doing a two-prov set with her Canadian improv-wife called 'Feel like Merkin Love' but has yet to book her flight. Kate loves to bake and make all sorts of crafty things. Her role models are Garfunkel and Oates and the baes on Broad City. Being from Philly but also a cyclist, Kate hopes to come off as a nice blend of both Abbi and Ilana.
