Jonathan Kaplan

Jonathan Kaplan has toured internationally in the two person comedies "This Town" and "The Hysteric" (Found in New York Productions) which was awarded Best of Fest at the 2011 Winnipeg Fringe. He has performed in the physical theater festival MOVE IT! at HERE Arts Center, Triskelion Arts’ Comedy in Dance Festival, New York Downtown Clown Revue at Dixon Place and the New York International Clown Festival at the Brick Theater with his solo clown piece Le Fleur and his clown duo Two Hander. He co-created and performed in Icetacles: The Last Chance of A Lifetime (Ten Directions), Deck the Hallmans (Ten Directions), as well as various plays, improv shows and stand up sets throughout NYC. He has studied clown with Eric Davis, John Towsen, Aitor Basauri (of Spymonkey), mime with Gregg Goldston and improv with Christian Capozzoli, Ptolemy Slocum, Matt Donnelly, Ali Farhanakian, Pat Shay, Rachel Hamilton, Kevin Scott and Chris Caniglia.
