New York improviser: James Rich

James Rich

James hails from Nashville, TN and went to college at The University of the South, where he majored in Theater Arts and acted in a ton of stage productions. While in college, James also studied acting extensively at The Michael Howard Studios. After college, James returned to NYC, wrote and co-produced a couple of original plays, before settling into his current improv groove. He's worked with Blue Man Group, warming up audiences as a Tubetalker and has performed comedy and improv at various venues across the city including: The PIT, UrbanStages, The Tank, Carolines On Broadway, The New York Comedy Club, Galapagos ArtSpace, Parkside Lounge, to name but a few. He's also performed in The Baltimore, Providence, and Philadelphia Improv Festivals as well as at The Del Close Marathon (at 9am in the morning!) He is a member of PIT house team Tomahawk, improv super group SidViscous!, and all tie wearing group Aztec Bacon. James also performs and writes for "The Sitcom." James is happy to be here!
