New York improviser: Evan Forde Barden

Evan Forde Barden

Hey, I'm Evan. That's an old photo, but old photos are fun.

I'm from Winchester, MA where I use to play sports. I also used to play music. Then I learned long-form improv at Fairfield University, spent a couple of years performing improv and sketch at ImprovBoston, and moved to NYC in 2010.

I've performed on Magnet Theater improv teams since 2012 (Bodywork & Friday Night Sh*w, among others) and had a great run with The Executives, a sketch team, from 2015 to 2018. When UCB died, I was on Harold Night with Days of Thunder and Maude Night with Young Douglas. RIP Hometown Tigers, who were the best Lloyd Team.

I've been lucky to have been taught/coached by Louis Kornfeld, Silvija Ozols, Peter McNerney, Achilles Stamatelaky, Rick Andrews, Armando Diaz, Adam Wade, John Murray, Ari Voukydis, Jordan Klepper, Michael Delaney, Laura Grey, Brandon Gardner, Lydia Hensler, Will Hines, Anthony Atamanuik, Gavin Speiller, Kate Zelensky, Erik Tanouye, Billy Merritt, John Timothy, Johnna Scrabis, Ed Herbstman, and Nicole Drespel.
