New York improviser: Erin Doyle

Erin Doyle

Upon graduating from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, Erin moved to LA, where she did a lot of things you haven't heard of and a couple that you have. After a critically acclaimed turn as the back of Gwyneth Paltrow's head in Iron Man, she decided that she needed to take comedy more seriously. She began classes at the UCB LA and performed with various sketch groups at venues including IO West, The Westside Eclectic, and The Improv! Since moving to New York, Erin has evolved into a writer and likes to joke that she's an "actor in recovery." Supporting evidence includes a "real job" at an ad agency (which, ps, she loves,) but conflicting reports of bit parts in indie films and an improv addiction refute this claim. In addition to the above, Erin has co/written and co/directed several stage plays, pilots, shorts, and feature films, and recorded an EP of indie rock for kids titled Princess Elleanora and the Muddy Sneakers. She does improv with the incredibly funny and gorgeous women of Victory Job.
