New York improviser: Emily Johnson

Emily Johnson

Emily Johnson received formal acting training at the Seattle Children’s Theater the summer of her tenth year. Soon thereafter she wrote the Christ the King School Passion Play, performed by Mrs. Grunde’s 8th Grade Class. It’s the story of Jesus’ death, in case you’re not familiar with the phrase “Passion Play.” It was pretty much like Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ, but without all the fake blood and anti-Semitism. Emily has studied at The People's Improv Theater, UCB, Magnet and The Annoyance Theater in Chicago.
