Claire Jane is an actor and writer.
As of May 2011, she graduated from William Esper Studio, a two year conservatory program for the meisner technique under the grace of Suzanne Esper. At Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, she honed her skills of improv and sketch.
This past year, Claire Jane has had the pleasure of multiple table readings as the first "cougar" from the olden times for an original Broadway musical idea. These readings have been directed by Stafford Arima, who was nominated for a 2004 Laurence Olivier Award as best director for his West End production of Ragtime. She also recently wrapped an independent feature Dutch Kills as Gina, a crack addict mother, coming out later this fall.

Her personal writings have been shown on stage in the East Village and a series of her vignettes are currently in pre-production being brought to screen this year.
