New York improviser: Beth Appel

Beth Appel

Beth Appel is from Denver, Colorado where she was a member of short form improv groups Comedy Jocks and Bovine Metropolis. She graduated from Vassar College where she performed all sorts of legitimate theater and also wrote and performed with the not at all embarrassingly named sketch comedy group Happily Ever Laughter. She currently writes for the UCB Maude Team High Treason and performs with improv groups Shark Tank and Nap Time, Inc. and sketch group Ham on the Bone (a name so not embarrassing you're probably jealous). Beth's other sketch group, The Brian Project, made one comedy video a couple of years ago and might make more some day. In 2008, Beth wrote, directed, and performed in the sketch show "Sexual Dancing For Dummies". Beth also blogs for the Huffington Post just like fellow comedian Larry David.
