New York improviser: Becca Barish

Becca Barish

Becca started improvising her freshman year at the University of Maryland with her college group, Erasable Inc. Since that time, she has studied through improv instructors at io and The Annoyance in Chicago, as well as The People's Improv Theater in NYC.

She not only has a passion for performance, but also for teaching improv, both as an art form and as a tool for improving communication and collaboration in groups. In May of 2010, she founded Off Book Enterprises, a company that uses improvisation techniques and exercises to improve communication among students, educators, and business professionals. Becca is a founding member of the improv group Gameface.
