New York improviser: Ariana Seigel

Ariana Seigel

Ariana Seigel is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and currently works in New York City as an actor, musical improviser, and sketch comedy writer. She's a member of musical improv group, "ISaidSing" - a new brand of musical stylings with some of NYC's top musical improvisers (UCB/PIT)
Ariana is also co-founder of the sketch comedy troupe, The People’s Sketch Association, having written, directed, and produced shows at Upright Citizen’s Brigade, The Tank, and The People’s Improv Theatre (where they perform monthly) along with winning the 2010 INNY Award for “Best Sketch Comedy Group”.
In 2009, Ariana teamed up w/ fellow improviser, Emma Tattenbaum-Fine, and the non-profit, Naked Angels, to produce the web-series, “Ari and Emma" - a chronicling of their strange and ridiculous friendship.
As an actor, recent credits include: [Regional] Williamstown Theatre Festival (alongside Andrea Martin and Judy Gold), [Regional] Theatre of the American South, and the pilot “Grounds.”
