New York improviser: Anna Suzuki

Anna Suzuki

is an actor/improviser/comedian. Born and raised in Shizuoka, Japan, Anna currently can be seen performing stand-up all over NYC. Anna hosts a monthly variety show at the Creek and the Cave, and will be performing stand-up aboard the Royal Carribean Cruise summer of 2012.

Off-Off Broadway credits include: MacChin: The Lamentable Tragedie of Jay Leno (NYC Fringe Festival), Between the Bricks (Midtown Int'l Theatre Festival), Vagina Monologues (Snapple Theatre Center), Voices In Your Head (Bizarre Noir Co.). Film/web credits include: CollegeHumor.com, pilot by Deepak Ananthapadmanabha, short film by Peru Ana Ana Peru. Anna currently writes for and performs in sketch comedy team, Cheeze Stikz (Chris Walker, dir./prod.). Anna has studied and performed at the People’s Improv Theater, and continues to study at Upright Citizens Brigade. Anna is half-Japanese in half-Jewish, which makes her a JAP-JAP.
