New York improviser: Allan Declan Fong

Allan Declan Fong

Stage name: Declan Fong.

Comedically trained by Kurt Braunohler at one point in time. He, also, received an honorable mention in the sitcom portion of the 2001 IMTA competition.

He was born a witty kid, who made his first pun when he was 6, in Chinese. He was raised on both Asian and American comedy. Growing up, his idol was Steven Chow, the Kung Fu Hustle guy. Declan started his improv training in the late 90's when he was inspired by the works of Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie; but being a teenager, he stopped due to his lack of life experiences and knowledge of adult references/innuendos, which is used for joke purposes.

Today, he is on an improv tear. Started at P.I.T.'s level 2 in the summer of 2013 and hasn't stopped. He has finished his training at the P.I.T. and currently plowing through UCB, Magnet, and Annoyance. He is f*cking relentless.
